Millennial Pink > Dark, Rich Jewels

There’s no denying that millennial pink dominated the spring/summer trends for 2017, often used as an accent colour on ultra white canvasses.  Moving into autumn, we’re now seeing less of the muted, pastel shades and more of the dark, rich jewel-like colours.

Midnight blue, emerald green and berry red are just some of the colours on the scene, making for very plush winter surroundings. With luxe space-age making a comeback too, these colours will feel right at home… well, in  your home.

Copper > Brass

Move over copper. Brass is back in business.

More elegant than chrome, but less so than gold, brass is the halfway point to understated luxury in your home. Whether used on statement pieces of furniture or as an accent tone, it’s quickly becoming the metal of choice for this autumn and winter. 

Brass also works great with other rich minerals trends such as marble. Marble has already established itself as a must-have look for 2017 and it’s here to stay for a little while longer. The duo work side by side to bring you a weighted elegance that works equally as well with dark, moody shades as it does with the likes of millennial pink.

Soft knits > Plush velvet quilts

Knits will never go out of style, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the cosiness of new textures this winter. Like knits, velvet is always a firm favourite around this time of year and it’s back once again in the form of quilts. 

Adding a little extra opulence, you can kit out your bedroom and living areas with cushions, blankets, throws or even sofas and chairs, all donning perfectly formed and oh-so-touchable quilted velvet.

Scandi minimalism > Featured patterns

The hygge trend has turned us into the masters of combining minimalism and cosiness, and while we still love its underlying message of enjoying life’s simple pleasures, our heads have been turned. 

There’s a new spin on floral patterns taking influence from the wilderness with a touch of glam to finish. Reimagining nature with a combination of prints in one, it’s an eye catching look ready to take centre stage this winter.
