Introducing the St Pancras Collection
Share

We’re excited to unveil our exclusive new collection, celebrating the 150th birthday of the iconic St Pancras Station. Hailed as a triumph of engineering in the Victorian age, the station encapsulates British design at one of its most ambitious and adventurous times in history, making it the perfect inspiration for our limited edition range.
The bold designs take influence from the patterns and materials of the station’s interior, embracing brick, stone and ironwork in the colour palettes. We wanted to make a statement worthy of St Pancras’ rich legacy, putting pattern and colour front and centre in the design process.
Keen to marry past with present in the designs, we took inspiration from current patterned surface trends and classic neo-gothic architecture to produce two timeless tiles full of character. Each design features four intricate motifs that can be combined in various ways to create a perfect patchwork in your home.
The Terracotta tile is based on the red brickwork of the station, conceived in burnt orange with sky blue accents and a textured finish for that authentic, rustic look. Ideal for traditional interiors, the Terracotta is perfect for a feature floor in your hallway or kitchen.
The Monochrome tile echoes the station’s ironwork in black, white and grey tones, paired with a smooth finish that results in a striking, more modern feel. Pair with a Victorian era cast iron bath in your bathroom, or make a feature wall in your kitchen that’s sure to grab attention.
Claire O’Brien, head of design and product at British Ceramic Tile comments:
“There’s a great story to tell with this collection. The station design is a case of triumph over adversity. When first built it was a true engineering masterpiece; so clever in its design. Then the World Wars took their toll. Now rebuilt to its former glory, we’ve taken inspiration from this illustrious history to create tiles that reflect British design at its best.”
