Designed in Britain, Made in Britain

At British Ceramic Tile we’re very proud of our heritage. We’ve been manufacturing pottery and ceramic on our site in the UK for over 100 years.

We are entirely focused on manufacturing excellent quality and affordable ceramic tiles. From our state of the art, 18 acre factory in rural Devon, using exceptional raw materials, we produce high quality white bodied tiles and glass products using a combination of traditional skills and ultra modern technology – our twice fired ceramic process means that our tiles are amongst the best in the world.

We are proud to support the local economy with 85% of raw materials being sourced within the south west.

World class manufacturing is our core, and we constantly strive for excellence by investing in our plant, our people and our partnerships with suppliers.

High Definition Technology Since 2012

Inkjet HD technology is transforming the design and manufacture of tiles worldwide. We have invested in world-class technology allowing us to print any image in high definition onto the face of a manufactured tile, enabling us to achieve amazing natural effects such as intricate marbles, wood grain, water or bold, modern graphics such as geometric patterns…..the possibilities are limitless.

Our premium HD inkjet technology allows us to design, manufacture and market HD products to compete with the best in the world!

We are one of only 20% of worldwide tile manufacturers with the capability to produce inkjet (HD) tiles.

Impact Glass

Our Devon based glass shop uses UK sourced raw materials with 15% recycled content to produce splashbacks and upstands, tiles and borders which can be printed or sprayed to amazing effect.

We believe we’re the only manufacturer to produce glass products on site as well as ceramics.

Decorative Tiles

At British Ceramic Tile we specialise in decorative products to compliment our core offer. We add market-led designs and effects to plain tiles in our specially created ‘third-fire’ decorative plant, to give our customers an unrivalled choice of trends and looks.
